We talked to Visalia Veterans Committee Chairman Daniel Kelley. They are working on the veteran’s mural restoration. In particular the World War II Veteran’s mural which has much needed repairs. And with those repairs come big expenses. They are asking the public’s assistance in this big restoration project. We also talked to Paul Loeffler of the Central Valley Honor Flight. He is one of the person’s instrumental in bringing the Central Valley Honor Flight to our Valley. We spoke to Paul about the history of Central Valley Honor Flight, funding, where the funds go, how you can help. Who is eligible and how you sign up to go. We are doing a fundraising drive in the Walmart Parking lot of Caldwell & Mooney for the Central Valley Honor Flight on Thursday, November 7^th from 6 am to 11 pm. You can drive by and we’ll be taking donations for the Central Valley Honor Flight. This will help them continue to send our local Veterans back to Washington DC to see their monuments.
